as for hoarding and all that .. its kinda lame .. there was a time when janes could have become like led zep .. now they have made a joke of themselves .. they will never be a well respected collectable band .. except to a very few .. there is just no reason to hoarde at this point .. no one is gonna pay a thousand dollars for that 2003 gig you taped .. this just reminds me of the bullshit that went on between traders way back when .. a lot of .. i'll give u a common show for your rare show .. garbage .. then turn around and wont return the favor .. now everything is digitized .. your currency is your willingness to share, not what you wont

how about you post a list of what you are supposedly not allowed to share .. its probably all out there already anyway

i'd be curious if you have anything interesting

and i definately second hearing the 60minute rehearsal tape from 86
Trevor I'd be willing to bet there's something in your collection that filth has filmed and or shared.
He's certainly not a hoarder but does have some very rare stuff that he's put big money out for.
He's also filmed and recorded a lot of shows that he's shared only to later find some asshole selling them on ebay.

Now put yourself in his shoes, you spend hundreds of dollars on never before seen footage or hundreds of dollars flying out to a show and recording it.

Do you just put it out there for everyone for free and not try to get something in return via a trade?

Of course not.

well i am sure filth is a nice guy and all .. i've spent a pretty penny or two on my collection as well and I have zero doubt that most everyone has "something" i sourced at one point or another .. i get that people hold out the super rare to get the super rare .. its just all rediculous .. i'm trying to hate the game and not the player .. but i will reemphasize that in this day and age .. its what you share that is your currency .. your legacy .. its the bands music not yours .. you don't really have a right to be making money on it ... and the band is destroying its own legacy these days that the monetary value of anything rare has dropped to pretty much zero ... I have my doubts that there is even anything worth hoarding anymore with janes .. so let it free before the die hards die off and never get to hear it .. i mean there is just no point in hoarding this stuff anymore .. none ..

Filth - thanks for the awesome offer!!! I have a couple requests since you asked. Would love to see the following:

5/14/91 from Dayton, OH - supposedly it's been recorded but never been able to locate a source
7/16/03 - Cincinnati, OH
10/17/11 - Irving Plaza show #1, never seen an audio source surface for this one

also two P4P shows if you have those
8/17/93
10/21/96

Thanks again for doing this, it's really awesome of you, happy to help in any way

Sure

It's not the money, its trading something for something else that is as "rare" in audio or video that makes it worth it to us die hards...

You are talking audio for all of these right? I'll see what if any I have and see what I can do for you.

Do you hoard your wife? What's the point if so? I mean she's gonna die soon anyway so why not share, I'm sure you've put several dollars into her fat ass over the years but What's The Point? Share my man. The only reason I'm even giving you the limelight right now is because I'm drunk, normally I don't comment when ants chatter.

Last year I started uploading P4P shows that I had recently transferred from Cassette to Computer. I guess it's time to seed a few more.
