Attention: The Following Shows Are Cancelled!

Post by Mike »

July 30, 2007 - Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, NY
July 31, 2007 - The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY

Sorry for such short notice but I only just now was able to confirm their cancellation.
No details were given as to why they were cancelled.
Sorry I couldn't let you know about this sooner.
I read the following on the Satellite Party Myspace last night:
Jul 28 2007 8:15P

very very disappointed you're not playing /30 @ SPAC. My wife especially as she's never seen you... Now we're stuck with these worthless tix of lame bands we do not want to see... you owe all your fans in the northeast an explanation...I had to take the night off work and everything....well I hope you're happy and having a good time goofing of while I try to make my money back on these tickets... you know, not everybody can afford to go to shows all the time some of us have to work for a living but I guess you could care less because everybody around you kisses your ass ....have a nice life... I will NEVER waste my time going to see you again... and I flew to Coachella 4/28/01 to see you too...
Which is what got me to look into this.
When I checked this morning tickets were still being sold for both shows.

Well here's some explanation for why these two shows were cancelled,

The fest will go on as scheduled with 311, Matisyahu, the Nightwatchman, TV on the Radio, Shiny Toy Guns, the Urgency and more beginning at 3 p.m. Reserved amphitheater seats are $36.50; general admission lawn tickets are $20.

No, they're referring to Nuno and Kevin leaving.
No one else has left.
