Jane’s Addiction to perform ‘Nothing’s Shocking’ over 3 nights in Las Vegas this May

Less than two weeks after Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell proclaimed to Rolling Stone that “it’ll be a couple of years before you see Jane’s again,” the band has been confirmed to perform its classic 1988 studio debut Nothing’s Shocking over three nights in Las Vegas this May as part of the soon-to-open Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas’s already packed schedule.

Billboard reports that the proprietors of the original Brooklyn Bowl in New York have unveiled the schedule for their new venue in Las Vegas, and it includes Jane’s playing Nothing’s Shocking on May 8, 9 and 10.

Other acts booked include Elvis Costello and The Roots, Primus, Chromeo and more.

The Las Vegas venue opens March 8.

this is fantastic news in many ways. the LINQ, Caesar’s new entertainment complex is having a multi grand opening which has us locals sensing its special. we get a view every morning watching from a distance the building of the ferris wheel. It will open that weekend which reminds me janes knows where to be at a epic times

They just created an "event" on FB leading to the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas link (posted above), which is def. vague. In a perfect world I'd travel down for the 5th of May thru the 10th to see Twenty One Pilots and Jane's. Total polar opposites but I <3 all kinds of music.

As part of a final celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the release of Nothing's Shocking that started with the group receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last October, Jane's Addiction have booked a trio of Nothing Shocking shows in conjunction with the opening of the new Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas for May 8-10, 2014.

"We had a blast performing at our event during the CES show this month so we decided that Vegas would be a great spot for a final celebration of our 25th anniversary." said Farrell.

Although as reported earlier this month in Rolling Stone that Jane's is currently on hiatus from recording any new music, the group is not ruling out playing other live shows.

"Jane's is first and foremost always a great live experience. just because we are on break doesn't mean we won't go play a great gig if one comes up." said Farrell.
