Hi,
Brand new to the world of Jane's Addiction. I'm usually into Death Metal. But... I was at a bar this weekend and they played Jane Says - I was hooked instantly.
So, from what I know. The Official video contains the audio from Lollapalooza July 24th, 1991. So my next question, is there an official bootleg or album with this exact version?
I'll continue reading through this site in case the answer is somewhere here.

Re: Jane Says Official Video Audio Source
That version was released on the Kettle Whistle album, but the entire show hasn't been released - only parts sporadically.
The entire show was recorded, and there is a good source going around. It is pretty common, so I'm sure you can find it online or someone can repost it for you (http://forums.janesaddiction.org/viewforum.php?f=2)

Re: Jane Says Official Video Audio Source
helicine, thank you for the reply.
I was aware of the live version on Kettle Whistle - but I still thought it sounded a bit different. That and the length of the songs is different. But I suppose that it was just trimmed for the official video.
And. After all of this, I think I actually prefer the Jane's Addiction EP version now.
Thank you
