Mink - Support on the current North American Tour

Post by Mike »

Mink are supporting Satellite Party on the current tour.
I know most of you already know that and it's not the purpose of this thread.
I just wanted to start a thread for all the clips they've been posting on youtube.
Most of them include some snippets of Satellite Party jamming etc.
Some of them are just a blast to watch.
I really enjoyed their set at the House of Blues and wholeheartedly suggest you check them out.
All the clips they've posted have now been added to their new myspace location.

Check it out!

I really enjoyed Mink the other night.
I think they're a good choice for an opening band,
My only complaint is that their cover of Suffragette City was rather flacid. There are some songs that shouldn't be messed with.

I liked the lead singer guy. Tall skinny guys with little butts doing serpentine movements are quite hot, imo.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who's enjoying them.
They seem to get on rather well with everyone from Satellite Party.
I'm sure that makes being on the road together that much more fun.
I had a chance to talk to Neal the singer between their set and Satellite Party's.
He seemed like the kind of person it'd be fun to go have a few beers with.
I'll leave his bum to you ladies.

I really liked them when I saw them at Lollapalooza. I caught them at a flashmob on Sunday and was really into their music. Here are some pics I took...

I shouldn't even post about this as it lessens my chance of winning but I'll tell you anyway.
Mink have a contest going and you could win the following sweet prize.
One lucky winner and a guest will be flown out to Phoenix on 10/8 to meet up with the band the next morning - yes, you will be put up in a hotel for the night. We can't expect you to sleep at the airport. After a day of hanging out with the band, the winner will be a VIP guest at MINK's show at the Marquee that night. After the show, the winner and guest will travel with the band on their deluxe tour bus en route to the House of Blues in Las Vegas for a concert on 10/9 and the tour wrap party afterwards. After a stay in a hotel room that night, the winner and guest will be flown home from Las Vegas on 10/11.

The "Ride Like A Rock Star" winner will get a laminate tour pass and take home a host of other cool prizes from the band. If that's not enough, the winner will be filmed and featured for exclusive web content.

That's not something I'd complain about if I was you.
