I think the success the record has will dictate that.
If the record sells well and the tour is successful why wouldn't they continue?

Well to begin with, everyone except for Perry currently has a touring/recording full-time band...

I though there was gonna be a Braodway type show as well. Wasn't that the orignal idea that Perry was talking about early last year?

I guess Perry had ideas about Satellite Party project since long time.

Back in 98 Perry was starting "Gobalee" which Perry described as "collaborative music" with bunch of friends like Morello,Navarro,Perkins,Lenoble among the others.
Then Gobalee project went into his solo Album, which Perry described a "Satellite Party"

"imagine if we were having a satellite party, us human beings here on earth. We had a party, and we were all on satellites that could link up and take us --like the Jetsons--over to the next party, the next satellite pad--it was cushy and we were kicking back and having a really great time. And imagine each one of those satellite pads was like a dance club so to speak, complete with lounges and everything else."

I also remember Navarro in a interview about his opinion on new Perry's project said "It's what he really wanted to do since long time".

So Perry had time to thinks the details about this project. I got high expectactions about the new project.
I think there will be more creativity and ideas than just another solo album and a tour. ;)

Yeah that's true.
The only full time members are Nuno and Kevin though.
So I don't think the other's commitments will factor into things that much.
At least not to the point of the band not continuing should Perry wish to.
That's still down the road though.
I just want the first disc in my grubby hands.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens after that.

You mean like Nuno and Figg from DramaGods (used to be Population One and just released a studio album a couple months back?)
