Why did Song Yet to Be Sung and Ultrapayload fail?
Been pondering this. They were good releases, not as good as JA, but still good. But sold less than 10,000 copies?

i dont think there wasnt enough press release.if it wasnt for myspace i dont know if i would of ever known about satellite party.ill never forget clicking on to log in and seeing the big advertisment for satellite party.I was soo soo soo HAPPY

album sales are down for everyone, and you really need to tour like mad to help sell your albums. it is a lot harder to do that and be a family man.
it is funny that the music industry bitches about how album sales are down, blaming downloads... yet they are all owned by multinational conglomerates that have allowed traditional music promo avenues to be muddled by either ditching music altogether, or continually limiting what music they do actually promote.
