Exhuming the body (of Jane's)

Post by Shroomy »

Hey I thought Jane's Addiction was dead and buried. Are the owners attempting to exhume the body and reanimate it? I suspect theres going to be some necrophilia here
Farrell has given his own explanation of why Jane's Addiction will never be together again.

He says, "The band went astray, falling into shallow holes. There was no consideration for the legacy she had built up over the years. Jane was getting stripped of her majesty.

"My separation came about because this legendary band was taken over by new owners. Music that was once relevant and graceful had become clumsy as a circus seal tooting his horns.

"Jane's doesn't strip for anyone but me. I brought Jane's Addiction to life, it is only fitting that I am the one to bury her."
Exhumation Procedure:

The correct grave shall be opened
The exhumation commences as early as possible in the morning to ensure maximum privacy
The plot/burial ground is screened as appropriate
All workers wear protective clothing, including gloves, overalls, face masks, etc.
Everyone present shows due respect to the deceased person
The name plate on the casket corresponds with the name on the licence
All remains and pieces of casket, webbing etc. are placed in the new casket (shell)
A supply of disinfectant is available and used.

Yes, "shroomy," we failed to grasp your views on this the first 10 times you shared them. It's so splendid that you've started your own thread to really amplify your position.

Howdy stranger, its nice you like my posts so much. Maybe you should post some more(instead of lurking) so I don't have to.

I'll post at times when I feel that I have something of value to contribute, and "lurk" only so much as to be aware of any significant goings on.

Thanks for the SUPER suggestions though!

I've got nothing but positive thoughts and feelings about this.

The guys are being honored and that's totally cool by me.

I know that others feel differently about this.

And I know some would like to see Perry do something else.

But if you would have told me August 5, 1991 that I'd ever get to hear Jane's play again...

I dunno it's kind of like living on borrowed time or something.

It's all good and none of you negative Nellie's can make me feel less excited by this.

No freaking way.

So call Doctor Frankenstein and let's get this fine lady up and running!
