Absolutely could not agree more.Nothing's Shocking wrote:...is the greatest frontman, lead singer, entertainer of my generation PERIOD
I've always referred to Perry as a kindergartner on acid. haha I hope I have half of his energy when I'm 50. And I think his having children adds a certain playfulness to him, too. All I know is that in modern days, he brings love. Lots of it.StickyFingers wrote:
I can't believe he's 50 and still has spountaneous fun as a 9y/o kid, singing dancing and jumping all over.
The most enlightened people are the ones who seem to have gone through a lot in life. And Perry has most certainly gone through a lot in life.
I did not like his offer of suicide at our show. Particularly given his mother's background, and the fact that he is a father. It really spooked me, even though he said it all so playfully. And yet. It caused me to think. When he asked "Do you want to see a suicide? ... You could say 'I was at that show!'" and then he launched into Ted, Just Admit It ....
he just has a way of making you get stuff whether you want to or not.
Yeah.
He's fucking amazing.

I don't know if it is meditations, but his best moments onstage looks like he's uplifting superior state of awareness merging with people.
