I can see what you mean. When i first heard it, it reminded me of that Talking Heads song "The Lady Don't Mind".
I hope he releases "I Can Call You Mine". That was my favourite of the new solo songs.
Interesting to talk about Etty's influence. I stumbled across a Facebook group that was dedicated to Casey Niccoli's influence on Perry, stating that she was underrated/undervalued as a source of ideas and creativity for Perry. It made me think about Perry's change in direction musically. After all, Casey introduced him to Iggy Pop music, Etty introduced him to Nuno. She's obviously had a big influence on him. Like the song says, "As you like it, i like it too..."

Perry lead vocals,Etty farrell background vocals,Carl Restivo guitar`bass`synth and drum programing,Brendan Hawkins additional drum programming.cicatrix wrote:Does it tell you who produced it and played on it and all that jazz? One downside to downloading Perry's new tracks is that you miss out on the producer/player information that i always find so fascinating, being a music nerd...

I like he compose full album for children. A fairytale sound of full orchestra and wall of acoustic guitars. Like Alice in Wonderland. No techno please.
