I think and I hate to try to figure out what others are thinking.
But I think Shroomy is referring to the Satellite Party songs that were up on the Lollapalooza website back in 2005.
As far as I know they're the only early mixes / demos of any Satellite Party songs out there.
I think we've had them posted in the share section of this site at one point or another.
If you don't have them let me know.
thanx mike,
that's what i began to think just two second after i pushed the "submit" button.
I use to have those early mixes/demos too, but in my remembering, it was only 30-60 seconds extracts of the songs (dogstar, milky, hard life, revolution, ultrapayloaded)
If you have any full versions, I would be pleased to listen to them

The funky intro of Milky Avenue was killer. They played it at lolla with Nuno and Tony Kanal.....don't know why they dropped it during the final mixing....
Can fans expect to see Porno for Pyros again after Perry is finished with this round of Satellite Party?
Pete: "Perry has said he wants to bring Porno for Pyros back, but I don't expect anything. We talk and we're on good terms. I feel lucky just to be able to go to Lollapalooza. If I never play with Perry again, I feel lucky just to have even had that gig. There's an entire third Porno for Pyros album basically already written. At the very least, I have 12-13 structures for songs and Perry has lyrics written for them. So when he wants to record again, I'm here. But Perry's only going to do it when he feels the timing is right. I do everything from the heart, but Perry's always thinking. He knows when to act on things, where I will go from playing a show in front of 17,000 people to playing for just 3 in a cave.
I'm a loose cannon that way. I will always choose the path that doesn't satisfy my ego or my pocketbook."
Like most fans, I desire a new Porno for Pyros record more than most any other project the former members are working on. I inquire more about the third album and why it was never made.
Pete: "When we recorded Hard Charger for the Howard Stern soundtrack, another album was the next step. But we just couldn't get it together. At least I couldn't. Everyone was trying to get me to stop using drugs so I basically became homeless. I couldn't be around anyone and stay at their house because they wanted me to stop using. I had no money and basically became a criminal. I got tired of groveling though so I went to get right and checked in to a hospital. This was in 1997. We were going to do a full blown Porno for Pyros/Jane's Addiction tour, but I was in the hospital. They did the Relapse tour instead." www.goodgodsurge.com/Reading/paintinglife1.htm
I scored tickets to see P4P with Dave and Flea at some little club in Boston, but then they up and cancelled it, planning the Relapse tour instead. I was glad to see some Relapse shows, but I sure am pissed I never got to see that small club date with all those guys.
Peter Di Stefano: We never made it to a third record. The third record would be a cross between the first and the second. I don't know if we'll ever get to do it. We have a third record written. Ten songs written. Perry's got the words and everything.
