by now with the news buzzing around nin.coms site with the picture of Eric something big is in the works........Janes is BACK!!!! bigger than I think and hope we could of imagined...getting very excited!! http://www.nin.com/

Maybe Janes goes with NIN to Australia to warm up for a US tour...My only concern is that lately Perry always seems to lose his band after these overseas tours..Cheney Janes in 03, SP in 08..I hope Janes can pull off a small club run in the spring.
so I couldnt be happier I LOVE Janes! I love NIN!
I was thinking of the good ol days when I caught every NIN show around,
NIN lolla 91
NIN/Pop will eat itself tour(trippin my ass off fell in love with PWEI)
NIN/David Bowie(mind blowing)
anyone see the bowie NIN tour?I wonder if they will do the same with Janes? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7HV1n0u ... re=related

I've been quietly following all this as it develops.
I have up to this point read through all 65 pages of the thread on NIN.com.
Any how I have a couple of thoughts.
First off I think there is little doubt that Jane's are working on new material.
Is it something old or new?
That's like the million dollar question I guess.
Most likely something new but I mention something old because of the upcoming Box Set.
Wouldn't it be cool if they included some tracks from the 91 Lolla where the two bands played together?
This would be one explanation for Trent's involvement me thinks.
Then there's the very real possibility that Jane's are indeed recording brand new music.
I remember Etty telling me early last year that Perry had approached the other members about recording a new track or more for the Box Set.
Perhaps Trent is producing these new tracks.
Then there's the possibility that Jane's and NIN's are going to do some shows together.
First I heard of this was a post made by Sonny over at Xiola.org.
I haven't confirmed this with anyone but it seems probable at this time.
All this is really exciting.
When / if I hear more I'll as always pass it along.
