formal apology from JDJ

Post by jimmydeviljames »

It appears I was way off.. refer to below

"Etty Farrell- Sorry to all the romantic girlies-I hate the term "soulmate". If @perryfarrell ever writes a song called "soulmate" about me, I'd punch him!"

Perry is obviously not talking about Etty... hahah ok.. sorry.. still not loving the song though :(

It was my understanding (from what Perry said after performing the song) that it's some kind of tongue in cheek thing making fun of people who say "blah blah he/she's my soulmate." I may be wrong, but I dont think so. I dont remember exactly what he said, but that was my impression for sure. I guess once we know the lyrics it will all be clear. I did think it was really funny how many people assumed exactly what you say you thought, throughout the various sites. ;)

That's to funny.
Good one Etty!

No need to be sorry about it, at least I don't think so Jimmy.
Hell I thought it might be about Etty too.

I do think you should withhold final judgment until you've heard the version they commit to tape though.
They were working on it during sound check right before the show and once they get around to recording you may end up liking it. :noclue:

If you don't that's OK too but it's really starting to grow on me no matter who it's about and the prospect of some new music from these guys is an exciting one.
