This is like a week old, but apparently Eric will be touring with Garbage again. Saw him w/ Garbage in '05 in Detroit - very badass show. Can't wait to see it. Might do the MI/OH thing again for that.
Yeah, you're dreaming there. If I am remembering correctly, EA also played on Shirley's solo album... but that of course was never released and sounds like it has been shelved indefinitely.

I have more respect for Eric that he's doing the Garbage tour for a paycheck and to play with them again and to be happy touring instead of playing with Jane's and having to censor himself around Perry and be unhappy, not only creatively but personally. In Garbage, he's just the touring bass player. In Jane's he wanted to write new songs and try to keep the old Jane's vibe, but realized that Perry wasn't able to write that way any longer and didn't want to be a part of that in any way.

I'm happy for Eric so long as he's happy doing what he's doing.
Do I wish he was out on the road with Jane's right now? Sure, but I also wish they'd never broken up in 1991.
It is what it is but assigning blame to any of the parties involved is
