Hi nexis, I'm sorry to say no I didn't do any kind of formal interview.
We mostly were just talking and having a good time.
I did ask a few questions and I'm trying to work them into my review of the show.
If I wasn't so terrible at putting my thoughts into words it'd be posted by now.
Perry did say when we spoke of fan interaction that he'd like to pop in here from time to time to chat and answer questions.
I hope to make it to one or two of the shows next week and if I do I'll print out a handful of questions and ask if the opportunity presents itself.

I have not read any good interviews with Perry in a long while. If you had the opportunity to interview Perry and ask him anything without limits, what would you ask him?

Here are some of mine:

you have immersed yourself into the dance/dj culture in recent years. do you see a future resurgence of electronic music in the near future even as bands like the prodigy and chemical brothers have largely declined?

what would it take for you and eric avery to make up and become friends again?

do you have demo songs in your catalog that never made it into officially released songs that you would be willing to release through a medium like itunes for your devoted fans?

how has marriage and raising a family changed you as a person?

do you miss your friendship with timothy leary and what did you learn from him?

why do you think the concepts of mind expansion, free love back in the 60's failed in their promise to save humanity and its ills?
